Players Championship Events
A PDC Tour Card is mandatory to automatically enter the Players Championship events. These non-televised floor tournaments feature 128 players and are held behind closed doors away from large crowds. In the 2026 season, there are 34 of these demanding events scheduled. If a Tour Card holder withdraws, their spot is filled by top-up players from the Challenge Tour Order of Merit to ensure a full 128-player field.
European Tour Events
Overseen in conjunction with PDC Europe, these events take place across cities in countries like Germany, Austria, Belgium, Poland, and the Netherlands, boasting incredible live atmospheres with large crowds. The 2026 calendar features 15 European Tour events. Each tournament consists of a 48-player field. The top 16 players on the PDC Order of Merit are seeded and receive a bye into the second round, while the remaining 32 qualifiers battle it out in the opening round.
PDC Development Tour
Serving as a feeder system for the professional circuit, the Development Tour is a fantastic opportunity for blooming talents to prove themselves. The tour generally targets players aged 16 to 24. The 2026 season consists of 24 events. It allows young players to gain vital stage experience and compete for a coveted PDC Tour Card, which is awarded to the top two eligible players on the final Order of Merit.
PDC Challenge Tour
The Challenge Tour is the ultimate proving ground for former top professionals and emerging stars who competed at Q-School but did not win a Tour Card. Consisting of 24 events in 2026, this tour serves as the official reserve list for the Players Championship events. The top two players on the final Challenge Tour Order of Merit earn a two-year PDC Tour Card and a spot in the World Darts Championship.
